The Galts run a cow/calf/yearling operation of primarily Angus cattle. They are of hardy stock that are run in high mountain pastures nine to ten months of year.

During calving season, the first calf heifers are watched around the clock and are brought in to calve in the barn. The mature cows, however, are calved out on open range.

The Galts also sell ranch-fattened beef locally. It is available in quarters, halves and whole beef cuts and packaged to your specification.
